Security Guard Training
Pro+Plus Security is offering training classes to those seeking their training certification for Security Guard level 1 jobs, which are uniformed unarmed security guards.
CURRICULUM: According to NM state law 16-48-2-17 the course curriculum for Security Guard Level 1 must include training on criminal trespass laws, detention, liability, duties and ethics, citizen's arrest, cooperation with law enforcement, securing a crime scene, search & seizure restriction, limitations of authority, report writing, etc. Pro+Plus Security has had our curriculum and instructors reviewed and approved in writing by the State of New Mexico Regulations & Licensing Department, that is the legal regulatory authority for security guards, their employers and security guard training.
JOB PLACEMENT : At the end of the class, those that pass satisfactorily will receive a certificate of completion that can be used as proof of certified training in order to apply for a license. While we will provide copies of license application forms to those students that request them, the application must be sent to the state by the student. Passage of the class and receipt of a guard card does not guarantee placement as a guard in Pro+plus Security or any other company, as each employer has their own application process after proof of guard card.
HIRING: Pro+Plus Security is hiring licensed security guards, we are an Equal Opportunity Employer. Those that pass the class will still be required to pass our application process. Applicants must have guard card, valid driver's license and reliable transportation, and meet other company standards.

LOCATION: Upon registration for class, you will be notified of the location the Albuquerque class will be in.
